I'm a product designer with a background in UX research and front-end development, which means I can design the thing and then build it.
Before building academic tools, I taught STEM, and before that, special education. Eight years into designing, I still start with questions and curiosity, taking something complicated and making it make sense

Building a design system can get messy. The best ones aren't the prettiest — they're the ones every person on the team can follow like a recipe.
The ketchup bottle is my favorite UX reference: an ordinary object designed so well it keeps working long after anyone stops thinking about it. That's the goal — products that hold up as teams and ideas grow.
