Hey there! I'm Dawson.
Call me Dawson. Born in NYC, raised up and down the coast. I'm a UX designer and a frontend developer, which mostly means I can design the thing and then go build it.
Before I built academic tools, I taught STEM. Before that, special education. Eight years into product design, I still weave all of it together to do the same job — take something complicated and make it make sense.

I coined that after realizing the best design systems aren't the prettiest ones — they're the ones every member of the team can follow like a recipe. The ketchup bottle is my favorite UX reference for the same reason: an ordinary object designed so well it keeps working long after anyone thinks about it. That's the goal — products that sustain
