Mobile Application
Radio Bakery, a local gem in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, draws baked-good enthusiasts with its unique style and strong community ties. For a graduate course project, I chose to work with Radio Bakery because its brand identity resonates with my design approach. This project focuses on enhancing the website by adding online ordering capabilities and improving product visibility, enabling Radio Bakery to share its passion with an even wider audience.

To improve customers satisfaction by making websites have more access to products, pricing and ingredients.
Improve the bakery’s ability to take on online orders, with clarity on local and pick up delivery options.
Retain old customers and attract new ones.
Increase conversion rates by 10%.
-
Users want to see product details and prices without having to call the bakery.
Users want faster and more convenient ways to place pre-orders for pick up and delivery to avoid waiting.
Users want to know of current specials and new offerings.
-
Radio Bakery’s website lacks vital details and visuals of their products, special and new offerings. The site also doesn’t offer an online pre-order process for pick and delivery orders directly off the website like competing brands. Without these updates Radio is at risk of losing too many competing bakers.
user Interviews
User interviews were conducted to gain deeper insights into the behaviors and needs of potential users for my mobile application. By conducting three interviews, I was able to identify key patterns and priorities that should be addressed in the app’s design. I also highlighted the most impactful quotes to inform and guide my decision-making process.
